More than half of the properties are being treated through the Big Sky Lake Fuels Reduction Project.     SEELEY LAKE – After a hiatus for COVID last year, the Seeley Lake Biathlon returned this year Feb. 5. More than 90 racers took to the Seeley Creek Nordic Trails to test their skiing ability and marksmanship in the 21K, 9K and 3K races.     SEELEY LAKE - Montana’s own Race to the Sky 37th anniversary sled dog race, will be held Feb. 11-15. This year there are 28 mushers in the field - 12 competing in the 300-mile race including local mushers Jessie Royer, Josi Thyr and past-resident Cindy Gallae, now from Wykoff, Minnesota.     SEELEY LAKE– The Swan Valley Warhawks hosted the Blackfoot Valley League Tournament at Seeley Lake Elementary Feb. 5. Helmville defeated Ellison and Swan Valley to take home the championship.     SEELEY LAKE - The Blackhawks and Lady Blackhawks traveled to Darby to face the Tigers Feb. 4 and hosted the Granite Prospectors Feb. 5. The Boys split the week falling to Darby before defeating Granite while the Lady Blackhawks added a pair of wins to their season.
