Addition to UM Western’s Deans List

MISSOULA - Kyla Nelson of Potomac was among the students who received high honors on this fall’s Deans List from the University of Montana Western. Nelson is enrolled full-time and has a grade point average above 3.33.

Seeley Lake Library Book Club to meet March 3

SEELEY LAKE - The Seeley Lake Library Book Club will begin Thursday, March 3 at 10 a.m. in the library. Everyone is invited to join.  

The first book is “Boomers” by Rita Sommers-Flannagan. It is available now in the library for patron checkout.  Stop by and pick up a copy and be ready to discuss it at the first gathering. At the first meeting the group will discuss the book, set the guidelines and choose the next book.

Masks are required in the library since the space is shared with the Seeley Swan High School.

The Seeley Lake Community Library is located in the Seeley-Swan High School and is open Mondays and Thursdays, 9:30 a.m. – 3 p.m. and Wednesdays from 9:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. For more information call 406-677-8995.

Weekly COVID-19 update

As of Feb. 7, there have been 250,029 cases of COVID-19 in Montana. There have been 1,383,070 doses of vaccines administered and 549,882 Montanans fully immunized. There are 15,713 active cases, 11,161 total hospitalizations with 328 active, 231,285 recoveries and 3,031 deaths in Montana due to COVID-19 complications. Missoula County has had 25,965 cases, 3,647 active cases, 22,119 recovered and 199 COVID-related deaths to date.
