The Seeley-Swan High School Football Team overpowered Cascade High School last week, winning 54-36 on Oct. 6.
The Blackhawks came into the game 2-4.
Seeley-Swan took the lead first with a pass from Blake Irwin to Seth Dunster.
Blackhawks Head Coach Jacob Haley said both teams kept the game close down the stretch, but the Blackhawks ultimately outplayed the Badgers.
"It was a back and forth game, but we won the turnover battle and got enough stops when we needed them," Haley said.
Cannon Hawkinson led the team with five rushing touchdowns, complemented by two touchdowns from Seth Dunster. On defense, Austin Gonzales picked up 10 solo tackles and two sacks.
With the win, the Blackhawks will face rival Flint Creek Co-Op at home on Friday, Oct. 13. The game is also senior night.
