SEELEY LAKE - The Seeley-Swan Lady Blackhawks' volleyball season got underway with a win over Arlee Aug. 29 before the team headed to a tournament in Philipsburg Sept. 1.
The first three sets of the match with the Arlee Scarlets were really hard fought with the Lady Blackhawks dropping the first set, 24-26 and then winning the next two sets 28-26 and 27-25. The Ladies won the fourth set and with it took the match, 25-12.
Bethany Hoag and Trista Wendel led the Lady Blackhawks in kills with 6 and 4 respectively. Jordan Johnson and Aspen Conley had 4 assists each while Sariah Maughan led with...
