Seeley-Swan has strong showing at KLH

Freshman Sariah Maughan hands off the baton to sophomore Klaire Kovatch in the 4x100 relay. The two were joined by Lily Mercer and Terra Bertsch for the fastest relay in Class C this season with a time of 52.30 seconds.

MISSOULA - The Girls of Seeley-Swan took first place at the Kim L. Haines Memorial Track Meet May 4 with 92 team points ahead of Charlo with 84. The Boys took second place with 58 points behind Frenchtown's 132.

Both the Girls 4x100 and 4x400-meter relay teams edged out the competition for first place. Their time of 52.30 seconds in the short relay was the fastest of the season.

On the track, Sariah Maughan set new personal records in the 1600 and 800-meter of 5:22.39 and 2:29.12 minutes earning first and second place respectively. Hannah Ayers also set a PR in the 1600-meter with a time of...
