Fire Hall Turns Movie Theater

SEELEY LAKE – More than 60 children and adults came out for the second Movie Night at the Fire Hall April 8. Despite the pouring rain outside, everyone was warm and ate inside while propped up to watch "Planes, Fire and Rescue."

The Missoula County Sheriff's Office and the Seeley Lake Fire Company hosted the event. There was a spaghetti dinner provided before the movie and popcorn and drinks during the feature.

Local businesses including Rovero's; Kurt's Polaris; and the Iverson Ranch in Potomac donated for the dinner and snacks along with Scott Kennedy; the Seeley Lake Fire Company; and Sheriff's Office. Seeley Lake Volunteer firefighters provided supervision and helped get everything set up and taken down. While donations are accepted, the event is free for anyone to attend.

Next month's Movie Night is scheduled for May 6. Dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m. with the movie starting at 7 p.m. Children in kindergarten or younger must be accompanied by an adult. Rides are available.

For more information or to help with next month's event call Deputy Mike Sunderland at 531-0766.
