The Blackhawks took on the Arlee Warriors on the road Jan. 5.

The Boys fell behind early in the game heading into the second half with a 22-point deficit.

Though the Blackhawks found success at the free throw line, they had a hard time matching Arlee's heavy hitters. Phillip Malatare and Tyler Tanner racked up a combined 60 points for the Warriors. The Blackhawks fell with a final score of 41-94.

Gunner Sloan led the Blackhawks with 17 points. Sloan hit 5 of 6 from the free throw line. Cameron Haines, Chance Johnson and Bradley Miller hit all their free throws bringing the teams total to 11 of 12.

Also scoring: Miller 9; Johnson 7; Haines 4; Avery Smith 2 and Cordell Turner 2.

Versus Lincoln

The Blackhawks took on the Lincoln Lynx Jan. 6 at home. The Lynx were undefeated in the conference heading into the game and the Blackhawks were looking to change that.

The Blackhawks built a 7-point lead in the first half and extended it to 16 by the start of the fourth quarter.

The Lynx weren't ready to go home with the loss quite yet and made a run at the Blackhawks in the final quarter. The Blackhawks held them off and won with a final score of 44-35.

Cameron Haines hit 3, three-pointers on his way to leading the Blackhawks with 13 points. Chance Johnson was right behind him with 12 points and Bradley Miller broke into the double digits with 10.

Chance nailed 6 of 7 from the free throw line.

Also scoring: Keaton Johnson 5; Nino Robinett 2 and Gunner Sloan 2.

Versus Charlo

For the third game in just three nights, the Blackhawks hosted Charlo Jan. 7.

Keaton Johnson led the Blackhawks with 17 points followed by Cameron Haines' 14 points.

The team sunk 9 three pointers accounting for nearly half the game's points. Haines hit 4, Keaton and Nino Robinett hit 2 each and Cordell Turner sunk 1.

While they were on from the three point line, the team only managed 40 percent from the free throw line hitting just 4 of 10 shots.
