Three More Victories for Lady Blackhawks

The Seeley-Swan Lady Blackhawks made quick work of their opponents last week. The Ladies defeated Granite, Lincoln and Victor, all in three games each. The victories extend their record to 7-1 in conference and 11-3 overall.

Versus Granite

The Lady Blackhawks hosted the Granite Prospectors Oct. 12 for a non-conference match.

The Prospectors put up a little fight but the Lady Blackhawks sent them down the creek with empty hands. The Ladies won three straight games, 25-21, 25-15 and 25-23 to take the match.

Alex Bohlman led the Ladies with 13 digs, 8 kills, 2 stuff blocks and 4 blocks. Andi Bohlman also had 8 kills while Tessa Grimes added 2 stuff blocks. Mary Strumpfer served 4 aces and Autumn Morse had 8 assists.

Versus Lincoln

The Lady Blackhawks took on the Lincoln Lynx Oct. 13.

The Lynx met a similar fate on the Lady Blackhawks' home court as the Prospectors did the night before. The Ladies sent the Lynx home in three quick games, 25-7, 25-11 and 25-14.

Alex Bohlman dominated the stats with 3 aces, 6 digs, 10 assists, 11 kills, 2 stuff blocks and 5 blocks. Tessa Grimes also had 3 aces and Autumn Morse had 6 digs of her own.

Versus Victor

The Lady Blackhawks traveled to Victor to bring the battle to the Pirates Oct. 14.

The match was short-lived as the Lady Blackhawks made the Pirates walk the plank after taking three games in a row, 25-15, 25-22 and 25-21.

Tessa Grimes led in blocking with 3 blocks and 4 stuff blocks. Alex Bohlman led with 10 kills and 13 assists while Ashley Miller had 15 digs and Autumn Morse served 2 aces.

This Week

The Lady Blackhawks wrap up the regular season with two matches this week staring at Valley Christian Oct. 18 at 5:30 p.m.

The Ladies then host Darby Oct. 22 at 4 p.m. It's Senior Night for the Lady Blackhawks and they will honor their four seniors along with seniors running cross county.
