Blackhawks Sweep Stillwater Christian

On Wednesday, May 11, the Blackhawks hit the course for the last time in regular season play. A dual meet against Stillwater Christian proved the team to be ready for competition at the State Golf meet that will be held in Hamilton the beginning of next week.

The Blackhawks were on fire taking first, second and third place to sweep the meet.

Senior Jacob Haley posted the lowest score for the day, winning the match with an 82. Junior McKinley Nicholas was close behind at 85, to take the second and Senior Joshua Cahoon took third with an 87. Sophomore Shane Lindemer wasn't too far behind with a 93 score.

Next week the Blackhawks will travel to Hamilton to compete for the State Title. The boys are the reigning champions and are looking to repeat. Competing at the State tournament will be Joshua Cahoon, Jacob Haley, McKinley Nicholas, Shane Lindemer, Jessie Hood and Serena Loney.
