The Seeley-Swan Lady Blackhawks finished off their regular season with a pair of wins against Darby and Victor extending their record to 17-1 overall. Their 13-1 in conference record earns them the 13-C District Title as they head to this week's district tournament.
Versus Darby
The Lady Blackhawks took on the Tigers Feb. 12 in Darby.
The Lady Blackhawks tamed the Tigers early, outscoring them two to one in the first half. Though the Tigers weren't ready to give up, the Blackhawks continued to outpace them to a final score of 59-38.
Paige Holmes scored 12 points to lead the Ladies. Delaney Holzworth followed with 10 including a pair of three pointers.
Also scoring: Eliana Robinett 9; Marisol Caro 6; Alex Bohlman 6; Stevi Meade 6; Mary Strumpfer 4; Cera Strumpfer 2; Stephanie Robbins 2 and Elizabeth Done 2.
Versus Victor
The Lady Blackhawks hosted the Victor Pirates for their final home game Feb. 13.
The Lady Blackhawks made quick work of the Pirates as they racked up more points in the first quarter then the Pirates would see before the final buzzer. The final score was 58-14.
Mary Strumpfer and Delaney Holzworth led the assault on the Pirates with 12 points each.
Also scoring: Paige Holmes 9; Alex Bohlman 6; Cera Strumpfer 5; Eliana Robinett 5; Marisol Caro 5; Tessa Grimes 2 and Stevi Meade 2.
This Week at SSHS
District 13-C Tournaments are this week in Hamilton, Mont. The Boys first game is against Clark Fork Feb. 17 at 7 p.m. The Lady Blackhawks take on Lincoln for their first game of the tournament Feb. 18 at 12:15 p.m.
