The bridge spanning the Blackfoot River on Sunset Hill Road will be getting repaved, meaning the pass will be closed for a few days at the end of November.
Missoula County said in a press release that the bridge will be closed from 8 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 29 to 4 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 30. The closure will last for as long as the construction is needed. There will not be any overnight openings of the site.
The public works division of Missoula County will be replacing the driving surface for those two days. County engineers recommend looking for an alternate route while this work is done.
