Two incidents draw emergency response

Two separate incidents sparked emergency responses from EMS, firefighters and law enforcement on the evening of Tuesday, Sept. 12.

At least one person was injured after an industrial accident involving heavy machinery at Pyramid Mountain Lumber, according to Missoula County Sheriff Sergeant Bob Parcell. A life flight helicopter transported the individual from the lumberyard. Their condition was not available as of Tuesday.

Another incident involved a car accident on Cottonwood Lakes Road. The car collided with a tree near the ski trails just outside of Missoula County. The driver was transported by ambulance. No further information was immediately available on the car crash.
