Energy Partners Propane Solutions and the Seeley Lake Community Foundation invite everyone to our Community Appreciation Day and Change Your Pace Challenge Kickoff Party on Friday, June 2.
Fill your 20 pound BBQ propane bottle for $10 and 50% of the proceeds will be donated to the Change Your Pace Challenge Match Fund. Come join us for an opportunity to mingle with local non-profits and enjoy lunch, sponsored by Energy Partners! The event runs from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Foundation Building (3150 MT Hwy 83 N, in downtown Seeley Lake), and the Change Your Pace Challenge begins at noon with an opening ceremony.
The Seeley Lake Community Foundation’s Change Your Pace Challenge (CYP) is a month-long campaign for community-wide giving, motivating community members to donate to their favorite participating local non-profits, knowing the impact of their gift will multiply thanks to the CYP Match Fund.
Sixteen local organizations are participating in CYP this year, raising money for important projects benefiting the greater Seeley Lake area. CYP runs from June 2 -30.
SLCF Executive Director Claire Muller says, “Every dollar makes a difference! Donating through the Change Your Pace Challenge is a concrete way to help local groups that support the Montana you love.”
This year’s Change Your Pace Challenge will kick off with over $10,000 in the CYP Match Fund, and this amount will grow throughout the next month. A special thank you to Energy Partners, the headlining sponsor of this year’s CYP Match Fund. Thanks also to Citizens Alliance Bank, Republic Waste Services, and Lindey’s Prime Steak House, other major CYP Match Fund sponsors.
2023 participating CYP organizations: Alpine Artisans, Big Blackfoot Chapter of Trout Unlimited, Blackfoot Challenge, Clearwater Resource Council, Missoula Aging Services , Parent Teacher Club at SLE, Seeley Lake Community Foundation, SLE Community Park, Seeley Lake Historical Museum and Visitor’s Center, Seeley Lake ROCKS, Sela Senci (Seeley Lake Senior Center), Sparrow’s Vine, Sullivan Memorial Community Park (Community Hall), Swan Valley Connections, Upper Swan Valley Historical Society, and Veterans & Families of Seeley Lake.
Beginning June 2, supporters can give online through the SLCF website, both to participating organizations, and the CYP Match fund.
Mail checks, made out to the Seeley Lake Community Foundation and accompanied by the Donor Form section of the CYP brochure, to the SLCF at PO Box 25, Seeley Lake, MT 59868.
After the donation period closes on June 30th, each organization’s donation totals will be tallied, and the match percentage will be calculated based on how big the CYP Match Fund grows.
Everyone is welcome to attend the CYP Check Presentation Ceremony at noon on Wednesday July 12 at the Foundation Building, to see the totals of what we accomplished together!
The Seeley Lake Community Foundation is a 501c3 nonprofit that is proud to encourage community philanthropy and increase support for all the great work our local groups are doing.
Energy Partners is your local propane solution, a company big enough to serve, small enough to care.
