In December of 2022, Seeley-Swan High School senior Owen Hoag was nominated for The U.S. Military Academy at West Point by Senator Jon Tester.
Tester nominated Hoag based on his academic achievements, participation in extracurricular activities, and dedication to future service in the United States Military. The nomination was one of the first steps of many for Hoag to apply to West Point.
Since then, Hoag has been appointed to the academy and looks forward to what lies ahead. Hoag says participating in sports throughout high school has helped him prepare for West Point.
