The Blackhawks boys and girls traveled to Hamilton this past weekend to compete in the District 13-C tournament.
The boy's started off with a tough game against the Victor Pirates. Leading by just a single point at half-time the Blackhawks overpowered the Pirates in the second and clinched a final victory of 55-31.
They rode high spirits into the second night but lost a well-fought game to Drummond 31-50.
The girls, however, swept the weekend with three consecutive wins over Lincoln, (62-10) Philipsburg, (50-31) and Drummond (43-38) respectively. The tournament victory advances the girls to Di...
