Handbell Choir Recruiting Members
SEELEY LAKE - The Seeley-Swan Mountain Bells handbell choir is recruiting members. The choir is a local community handbell choir that participates in several local events throughout the year. The choir practices on Mondays, from 3-5 pm, at the Presbyterian church. If you can read music – even if very rusty – please come to a practice or two or three and see how you like it.
Warning: handbells are addictive!
If you don’t read music, we are considering starting a “learn to read music with handbells” class. Please contact Joann Wallenburn at (406) 370-2483 or joann.wallenburn@gmail.com if you might be interested in such a class. It would meet for an hour a week at the same location. Date and time would be dependent on everyone’s schedules.
Citizens Alliance Bank to buy Granite Mountain Bank
Citizens Alliance Bank (CAB) has agreed to acquire Butte, Montana-based Granite Mountain Bank (GMB) in a transaction that includes branches in Philipsburg and Drummond, Montana,
“The employees, branch locations and commitment to the GMB customers will not change,” said Chad A. Forkrud, President of CAB. “Customers will be dealing with the same individuals that they deal with today.”
Citizens Alliance Bank, an independent community bank with total assets in excess of $1.2 billion, is headquartered in Clara City, Minnesota. CAB currently has three Montana offices in Great Falls, Seeley Lake and Lincoln.
CAB is a wholly owned subsidiary of brother-owned Forstrom Bancorporation, Inc., which will exceed $1.3 billion in consolidated assets upon integration of Granite Mountain Bank. Forstrom Bancorporation, Inc. started in Montana with its Seeley Lake office in 1998.
