Following the Veterans Day Ceremony on Friday, area veterans pose under the Seeley Lake Veterans Memorial with Seeley Lake Girl Scout Troop #3436. Veterans received handmade thank you cards from the Girl Scouts and from Seeley-Swan High School art students.
SEELEY LAKE & SWAN VALLEY: The Veterans and Families of Seeley Lake and American Legion Post #63 in the Swan Valley hosted their annual Veterans Day ceremonies Nov. 11 at 11 a.m. Both ceremonies were followed by a lunch for the veterans and their families.
President Barbara Knopp led this year's ceremony in Seeley Lake. She focused on the importance and sacrifices made by soldiers fighting for freedom. She summed up her thoughts with two words, "Thank you!."
