Senior Cora Stone goes for one of her 7 kills against Darby.
SEELEY LAKE – Senior Ava Thornsberry led the Seeley-Swan High School volleyball team in assists with 20 in their win over the Darby Tigers Sept. 8. The Lady Blackhawks won all three sets 25-17, 25-20 and 25-11.
Cora Stone had seven kills and Dani Sexton led with 16 digs and eight aces.
Two days later the Lady Blackhawks defeated Valley Christian on the Eagles' home court in four sets 25-20, 16-25, 25-18 and 25-18.
This week, the Lady Blackhawks will play in Philipsburg on Sept. 15. The JV game starts at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 17 the Ladies host Superior at home with JV play at 4:30 p.m...
