Council to provide key updates

The September meeting of the Seeley Lake Community Council will be held at the Barn (2920 Highway 83) on Monday, Sept. 12. Pizza will be served starting at 5:30 p.m. and the meeting will begin at 6 p.m. 

Featured speakers/topics are as follows:

• Jesse Mullen - new Pathfinder publisher

• Update from the USFS

• Update from the Seeley Lake Sewer District

• Overview of the Mobile Support Program of the Missoula City County Health Department Mental Health department

• Update on open Community Council position and how to apply. 

• A representative from Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks has been invited to answer questions about the RV dump, how best to provide community input to FWP, as well as the legislature.

• Political candidates from the area have been invited, but attendance will depend upon their schedules. 

Everybody is invited to participate in the Council’s discussions on agenda items during the meeting. As always, towards the end of the meeting there will be an opportunity for public comments on non-agenda items.
