On a journey without end

Passages

“I say then: walk in the Spirit and you shall not fulfill the lusts of the flesh. For the flesh lusts against the Spirit and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another so that you are not to do the things that you wish.” Galatians 5:16-17.

There’s the flesh/old man and the Spirit/new man. The old man is of great hindrance to our journey/walk. No matter how much sincere energy he spends improving the old man, he is still enmity against Yahuah. The lust of the flesh/old man will seek the easy way and becomes an expert at justifying and defending with zeal his life, all the while expecting Yahuah’s approval. He will fit into one of many mutual admiration clubs that will accept him.

The faith picture in the Book is not an improved rebuilt old man thinking he has citizenship to the master’s kingdom.

The good news for deliverance from the old man/lust of the flesh is in the scripture, only one provided narrow way. He must be put on a cross.

Luke 14:27, “Whoever does not bear his cross and come after me is unable to be my taught one.”

The perfect gift of salvation is a perfect new creature, who has no need to be made good. Perfect cannot be made good, it is already perfect! The perfect new man is Messiah lives in me.

Galatians 2:20, “I have been crucified with Messiah: it is no longer I who live but Messiah lives in me…who gave himself for me.”

The book I speak of is no ordinary book, it is much more than ink on paper, it is Yahuah’s word made flesh and when spoken, heard and done, it becomes the Kingdom in the minds and hearts of men and women. We have it so good and everyday becomes the best day of our lives.
