Movie Night at the Fire Hall returns May 28

SEELEY LAKE – Seeley Lake Fire Foundation (SLFF) Movie Night at the Seeley Lake Fire Department, 200 Firehouse Lane, resumes May 28 with “Encanto” on the big screen. Children ages five – 12 are welcome. The doors open at 5:15 p.m. with a nacho dinner. Movie starts at 6 p.m. Please call the District 406-677-2400 or comment on the “Seeley Lake Volunteer Fire Company - Fire & QRU” Facebook page to RSVP for dinner.

It has been several years since the Department hosted their movie night in the bays. SLFF Movie Night Coordinator and Seeley Lake Fire Auxiliary member Tabitha Bailey said the increase in membership has given them the ability to bring it back. They now have four members on the Auxiliary. The event is a function of the SLFF supported by the District.

“We have the ability to bring back Movie Night to the community to enjoy food and fun activities for the kiddos this summer,” Bailey said. “We will have dinner/snacks, fun activities followed with a movie.”

The SLFF Movie Night will continue twice a month until Oct. 8.

“During the winter time kids are still in school,” Bailey said. “Summer is a great time for the kiddos to have fun and watch movies.”

Attendees are encouraged to bring chairs, pillow and blankets so they are comfortable during the movie. The event is free to the community but donations to the Fire Foundation will be accepted. Volunteers are always welcome.
