Get ready for the June 7 primary election, May 19 event

SEELEY LAKE – Have you moved recently? Changed your last name? Changed your mailing address? The Missoula County Elections Office is hosting a special event May 19 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Seeley Lake Extension Office, 3360 Highway 83, to ensure residents are prepared to vote in the June 7 federal primary election.

The following services are available: Register to vote; update voter registration; request a replacement ballot and drop off vote ballot.

Seeley Swan Food Bank open this Saturday, May 21

SEELEY LAKE – The Seeley Swan Community Food Bank will be open Saturday, May 21 from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. Currently the Food Bank is open every Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. next to the Seeley Lake Elementary School Multipurpose Room.

Celebrate local EMS, Open House May 21

SEELEY LAKE – To wrap up EMS Week “Rising to the Challenge” the Seeley Lake Fire Department partnered with Partnership Health Center to host an Open House from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Saturday, May 21 at the Seeley Lake Fire Station, 200 Firehouse Lane. Join the Department in recognizing local paid and volunteer Emergency Medical Service providers and show appreciation for their service.

In addition to enjoying lunch, attendees can register for a raffle basket full of summertime goodies, tour the station and children can play in the bouncy house. There will also be free blood pressure checks, COVID at-home test kits and other information on strokes and heart attacks. Proceeds from the raffle basket will support the Fire Department.

Coffee & Computers Personal Tech Support Event, May 26

SEELEY LAKE - Have technology questions or issues you want resolved? Come by the Seeley Lake Community Foundation Building West Wing on Thursday, May 26, between 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. and visit with SLCF volunteers. Volunteers can help on various devices and will try their best to help solve issues. 

If possible, please bring the device and be sure to know passwords to ensure there is access. For more information, contact the Seeley Lake Community Foundation at 406-677-3506.

Weekly COVID-19 update

As of May 16, there have been 275,113 cases of COVID-19 in Montana. There have been 1,463,189 doses of vaccines administered and 563,850 Montanans fully immunized. There are 851 active cases, 11,952 total hospitalizations and 3,381 deaths in Montana due to COVID-19 complications. Missoula County has had 27,803 cases, 192 active cases, 27,403 recovered and 208 COVID-related deaths to date.

At-home test kits are available at no cost at the Seeley Lake Fire Department, 200 Firehouse Lane.
