Nationally renowned speaker William Federer to present May 22

SEELEY LAKE - Mission Bible Fellowship invites the community to a presentation by historian, speaker and author William Federer Sunday, May 22 at 9:30 a.m. and during worship at 10:30 a.m. Federer will share how the Bible influenced world and American history. There is no cost and everyone is welcome.

Federer is a nationally known speaker, best-selling author and president of Amerisearch, Inc., a publishing company dedicated to researching America’s noble heritage. He is known for his daily “American Minute” radio features and “Miracles in American History” TV episodes.

Veterans Affairs returns to Seeley Lake, third Wednesday of the month

SEELEY LAKE - Montana Veterans Affairs Division in the Missoula Office returns to Seeley Lake the third Wednesday each month beginning May 18. Veteran Service Officer (VSO) Sara Ball will be at Citizens Alliance Bank from 10 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. to help veterans file disability compensation and pension claims with the VA.

Veterans are encouraged to contact Ball to set up an appointment ahead. Ball can be reached at 406-721-1288 (direct/text), 406-417-3292 (fax) or via email sara.ball@mt.gov. Veterans are asked to bring their DD Fm 214 to start the process.

Weekly COVID-19 update

As of May 9, there have been 274,598 cases of COVID-19 in Montana. There have been 1,461,270 doses of vaccines administered and 563,762 Montanans fully immunized. There are 721 active cases, 11,930 total hospitalizations with 24 active, 270,499 recoveries and 3,378 deaths in Montana due to COVID-19 complications. Missoula County has had 27,651 cases, 137 active cases, 27,306 recovered and 208 COVID-related deaths to date.
