Seeley Lake Market returns June 19

SEELEY LAKE – The Seeley Lake Market sponsored by the Seeley Lake Community Foundation is ready for a full season in 2022. They will open on Father’s Day, June 19. Vendors set up in the grass area behind the Foundation building on Highway 83.

Rachelle Harman, Market Manager, said there are no big changes for the 2022 season but clarified use by non-profits.

Non-profit organizations are welcome and the space is free if just marketing their group and accepting donations. However, they must follow vendor rules if doing other fundraisers.

“We respect that they receive donations to continue their operations,” Harman said. “If selling a product, whether bake sale or raffle tickets, then they fall in the vendor category.”

Prior to 2020, the Seeley Lake Market averaged 35 vendors weekly. During 2020 and 2021 the average was 20. Harman said. “We hope to get back up to higher capacity in 2022.”

The market offers a variety of products from fresh produce with vegetables, cherries and melons as the season allows. There are many artisans offering everything from wood, metal to crochet, Harman said.

There are several local vendors in the Seeley Swan area while others come from as far south as Stevensville and as far east as Billings. “It is really impressionable the people that come to our market,” Harman said.

Some vendors are there every week with new vendors being introduced each Sunday, Harman said. The Market will run for 12 weeks with the last market set for Sept. 4.

Call Harman at 406-317-2756 or email seeleylakemarket@gmail.com to request an application to set up at the Seeley Lake Market.
