The four to six-year-olds checking out how many eggs each other found before opening them up to get the candy and look for the prize tickets.
The Easter Bunny was back and spent time before the hunting posing for photos. Once it started snowing, the Bunny quickly hopped away.
For many of three-year-olds and younger age group, this was their first Lions Club Easter Egg Hunt. While it took a while for them to get started, once they figured it out, parents had a hard time keeping up with them.
Lions Gary Lewis and Steve Bowen gathered the four to six-year-olds before the hunt and then led them over to their area.

It was a Vernarsky family effort helping Ryker open his eggs before the snow really started coming down. Once Ryker figured out what his mom Kendra and grandma Amy were doing, he jumped right in to help.
The seven to nine-year-old age group getting ready to run to the Eagle's Nest playground where their eggs were hidden.

SEELEY LAKE – The excitement was tangible as children lined up for the annual Seeley Lake Lions Club Easter Egg Hunt in the fields and playground at Seeley Lake Elementary April 16. When the gun went off it took less than six minutes for the more than 2,600 eggs to be found. Smiles continued as children loaded up on candy and many found tickets to claim a toy prize.
"It was great to see so many smiling faces," Lion Rachel Feigley said.
"It was a lot of fun for sure," said Organizer Lion Michelle Saalfeld. "We are totally back to normal."
The Lions Club was excited to resume the traditional egg hunt after canceling in 2020 and hosting the Hop N Bop as an alternative in 2021. They enlisted the help of the Seeley-Swan High School Leos Club for the event. Fifteen Leos showed up for the egg stuffing party Friday night and all the eggs were filled and ready to hide in an hour. Many of the Lions agreed that is the fastest they have done it in years.
There were between 30-50 prizes available for each age group. Saalfeld said the Lions Club collected toys from Loving Hearts Thrift Store and took advantage of toy sales throughout the year. Several children who found more than one prize ticket shared with those who had none, fostering a spirit of good will and sharing.
Simultaneous to the Egg Hunt, the Lions also hosted a Treasure Hunt at the Lions Club Pond for the 10-12-year-olds. Each child is given a list of 10 items to find that were hidden around the park. The first, second and third person to show up with all 10 items and no duplicates won a cash prize. Participants kept what they found and received a large chocolate bunny as well.
"It was a lot of fun and the kids were awesome," said Treasure Hunt Organizer Lion Cheryl Lewis. "They seemed to enjoy it."
Many of the Lions praised the Leos for all their work Friday night and Saturday at the hunt. Saalfeld added her thanks to all the Lions Club volunteers as well.
"We had tons of helpers," Saalfeld said. "Everyone works really well together and jumps right in to help."
Saalfeld added, "I think it went great. It's our chance to give back to the community and it brings the community together. I think that is the most important part."
