Swan Valley Community Council resumes in-person meeting, April 19
Swan Valley – The Swan Valley Community Council will meet for the first time since the pandemic Tuesday, April 19 at 6 p.m. in the Swan Valley Community Hall. The agenda includes a discussion with the US Forest Service and Missoula County officials about a proposed garbage transfer site in Condon. The Missoula County Building Department will also present current happenings with building codes and answer questions.
There will also be an opportunity comment on non-agenda items. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend.
Weekly COVID-19 update
As of April 11, there have been 272,919 cases of COVID-19 in Montana. There have been 1,433,885 doses of vaccines administered and 561,097 Montanans fully immunized. There are 344 active cases, 11,845 total hospitalizations with 14 active, 269,320 recoveries and 3,255 deaths in Montana due to COVID-19 complications. Missoula County has had 27,352 cases, 46 active cases, 27,106 recovered and 202 COVID-related deaths to date.
The last free, drive-up COVID-19 testing will be from 1 – 3 p.m., April 19 at the Seeley Lake Community Foundation Parking Lot. At-home tests are also available at no cost at the Seeley Lake Fire Department, 200 Firehouse Lane.
