Art Supplies Giving Tree available through the weekend
The Art Supplies Giving Tree will be available at the Grizzly Claw Trading Company in Seeley Lake and the Swan Valley Community Library until just after New Years. This is an opportunity to raise money for supplies that support art in the classrooms.
Community members are encouraged to pick a tag off the tree at the Swan Valley Community Library in Condon or the Grizzly Claw Trading Company in Seeley Lake. Drop cash or check (made out to Alpine Artisans, Inc.) into the coffee can at the Grizzly Claw or the check out at the Swan Valley Library.
Donations collected in Swan Valley will support Swan Valley School. Donations collected at the Grizzly Claw will be split between Seeley Lake Elementary and Seeley-Swan High School.
Weekly COVID-19 update
As of Dec. 27, there have been 196,044 cases of COVID-19 in Montana. There have been 1,317,333 doses of vaccines administered and 537,104 Montanans fully immunized. There are 1,775 active cases, 10,366 total hospitalizations with 112 active, 191,370 recoveries and 2,899 deaths in Montana due to COVID-19 complications. Missoula County has had 17,889 cases, 229 active cases, 17,471 recovered and 189 COVID-related deaths to date.
