Snowmobile trail closures in effect for Westside Bypass area

SEELEY LAKE - The following over-snow vehicle use routes / snowmobile trails will be temporarily closed during the week, Monday – Friday, for winter logging activities and for public safety while the Westside Bypass Wildfire Resiliency project is implemented. The trails will be open for weekends (Saturday – Sunday). The project will help address existing fuel and vegetation conditions that contribute to an increased risk of severe wildfire in areas adjacent to state and private lands.

Trails that are closed Monday-Friday until further notice:

• SNO-63.08 (West Side Bypass), from milepost 0.0 to milepost 5.9 at its junction with Fawn Creek Road FS #4349.

• SNO-63.08-B (Archibald Loop), from milepost 0.0 to milepost 2.9 at its junction with FS road #17682 and from milepost 6.7 at its junction with Archies Spur Road FS #16655 to milepost 7.3.

• SNO-63.23 (Theme Meadow Cutoff), from milepost 1.1 at its junction with County Road #77 to milepost 1.6.

• SNO-63.24 (Hotel Point Cutoff), from milepost 0.0 to milepost 0.9 at its junction with County Road #77.

• SNO-63.42 (W Bypass from Archibald-Eaglewatch), from milepost 0.3 to milepost 0.7.
