Personal Tech Support event, Nov. 16

November 11, 2021

SEELEY LAKE - Want to know how to protect yourself from scams online? Have a cell phone/computer and do not know how to complete all the tasks you would like to from it? Want to know how to use Facebook and other social media apps more efficiently? Stop by the Seeley Lake Community Foundation West Wing, 3150 Highway 83, Tuesday, Nov. 16 between 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. and visit with volunteers to answer your technology questions, concerns and issues.

The volunteers assisting are knowledgeable in several areas and can assist with different devices - from Apple to Android, Windows to IOS. Our volunteers are amazing community members who will try their best to solve your issues. Two people from Blackfoot will also be available to help answer questions, “Connecting our community to more.” Blackfoot will also provide coffee and light snacks for those in attendance.

No appointment is necessary. If possible, attendees are asked to bring in their device so volunteers can work with them to resolve any issues. However, devices will also be available to use.

For more information, contact the SLCF at 406-677-3506. With COVID continuing in our community, please call the day before to verify that we’ll still be holding this in-person event.

This opportunity is part of a series the SLCF is developing thanks in part to a grant from the Foundation for Rural Service to create a community tech hub at the Foundation Building. This one-year funding will support and build upon the SLCF’s efforts to help the Seeley Lake community through this difficult time, face the unique challenges of rural living and help get the community the tools and information needed to set the stage for future success.
