Put on your best costume and enjoy the local Halloween events

SEELEY LAKE – Everyone is invited out for the trunks, tricks and treats around Seeley Lake and Condon Halloween night this weekend.

• Saturday night, Oct. 30 there are plenty of Halloween gatherings at local establishments. Check out the advertisements in the paper for plenty of adult opportunities to dress up and party.

• All day Sunday, Oct. 31, Stageline Pizza is offering one free slice of pizza to students in costume.

• Pack the parking lot at Seeley Lake Elementary for the eighth annual Trunk-or-Treat event Oct. 31. Trunks can start being set up at 3:30 p.m. with the event running from 4:30 - 6 p.m. New this year is a Pet Parade at 5:30 p.m. Dress up your dog for the show. There will be plenty of dog treats for prizes and one prize for the best trunk. For more information contact Toni at 677-2265.

• The third Annual Trunk-or-Treat event in Condon runs from 4:30 - 7 p.m. in the Hungry Bear Parking lot Oct. 31. Dress up a pickup bed or car trunk or just come and trick-or-treat. This will happen rain or shine with music, hot apple cider, costumes and candy. Event runs until 7 p.m. For more information contact Edward Klassen at 406-754-2212.

• Head to the Tamaracks Resort for their second annual Tricks and Treats event from 6:30 – 9 p.m. Halloween night. Ten cabins will be decked out by local businesses for trick-or-treaters to visit on resort grounds with music and small bonfires to warm up. Attendees will vote for the best-decorated cabin. The winner will receive the traveling trophy.
