SEELEY LAKE — The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) invites the public to attend an in-person open house public meeting or an online meeting to discuss the proposed improvements to Highway 83 along the east side of Salmon Lake. This is part of the Salmon Lake Highway Reconstruction project.
The project team has finished the design for the roadway alignment. MDT will present information about the proposed roadway widths, how they plan to improve slopes and rockfall areas, and other safety improvements.
Construction is scheduled to begin in the fall of 2022 and is anticipated to be completed in the spring of 2024.
Come meet the project team in person at the Seeley Lake Historical Museum and Visitors Center (the Barn), 2920 Highway 83 on Oct. 27 from 3-6 p.m. or online on Oct. 29 from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Please register in advance for the online open house at https://mt-gov.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_hC7TrRt2QneeJRr_66mQUg
