Open houses to discuss Salmon Lake Highway 83 Reconstruction

SEELEY LAKE — The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) invites the public to attend an in-person open house public meeting or an online meeting to discuss the proposed improvements to Highway 83 along the east side of Salmon Lake. This is part of the Salmon Lake Highway Reconstruction project.
The project team has finished the design for the roadway alignment. MDT will present information about the proposed roadway widths, how they plan to improve slopes and rockfall areas, and other safety improvements.
