Cross Country team finishes strong at State Meet

MISSOULA – The Seeley-Swan Blackhawks took to the course for a final race with the full team at the State meet Oct. 23 in Missoula. Head Coach Shawn Holmes said the cross country team had a good state meet and the boys came really close to setting personal bests.

Sophomore Conner Chadwick led the Blackhawks finishing in 22:33.57 for 63rd place. Holmes said this was his best time on the University of Montana Golf Course.

Senior Hunter Coyle was running great until he got a bad cramp in the second mile. Holmes said he battled through it and finished with a time of 24:17.62 for 84th place....
