Key updates at next Council meeting

SEELEY LAKE - The June 14 meeting of the Seeley Lake Community Council will present an informative program on topics important to our area. We have the new affordable housing specialist from Missoula County as one of the presenters, and we all agree this is a key need for our community. Again we will conduct our meeting virtually, and we invite members of the community to join. Featured speakers are as follows:

• Jordan Lyons, Housing Specialist, Missoula County Community and Planning Services: discussion of affordable housing resources in Missoula County and planned projects.

• Claire Muller, Executive Director, Seeley Lake Community Foundation: Overview of the Change Your Pace program and an update on participation and donations to date.

• Quinn Carver, District Ranger, USFS Seeley Lake: Projects and summer update, including timber sales and campground status.

Everybody is invited to participate in the Council’s discussions on agenda items during the meeting. As always, towards the end of the meeting there will be an opportunity for public comments on non-agenda items.

The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. and be conducted virtually via Zoom. You can join with the following link https://us02web.zoom.us/j/88529888710?pwd=b0twWER1cjlrSS84Wi9NejY3Smdhdz09
