Seeley-Swan heads to State

Cannon Hawkinson heads out on his leg of the 4x400 relay after receiving the baton from Klayton Kovatch. Hawkinson filled in after an injury left the Boys relay short one runner. The team took second place and advanced to State.

MISSOULA - A dozen athletes from Seeley-Swan's track and field team advanced to the State C Meet through the Western C Divisional Meet May 21-22.

The Girls finished in second place with 95 points behind Manhattan Christian with 104 and in front of Clark Fork with 58. The Boys took home the third place trophy with 55.5 points behind Twin Bridges with 60 and Manhattan Christian with 112.

On the track, Sariah Maughan brought home the gold in the 400, 800 and 1600-meter races while Owen Hoag earned the top spot in the 200-meter for the Boys. The Girls 4x400 relay team blew past the competition...
