Customer Service Training available May 21, May 27 and May 29

Glacier Country Tourism presents their 2021 customer service trainings entitled “Customer Service Essentials” on May 21 from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. and May 27 from 1 – 4 p.m. and “Management Conflict: Principles and Practice for the COVID Era and Beyond” on May 28 from 1 – 4 p.m. This year’s trainings have been developed in partnership with the University of Montana College of Business, based on what businesses and employees are facing in a COVID-19/post-COVID-19 world.

The customer service trainings are a great education tool teaching valuable skills to help create a positive experience for staff and customers.

The Managing Conflict training will address the unprecedented challenges the tourism and hospitality industry has faced since the COVID pandemic. Not only are those in the industry being required to respond to health and safety concerns that have changed the regulatory context but also they are encountering a new kind of traveler – one who isn’t familiar with a rural or outdoor travel experience.

The trainings will take place via ZOOM and are free. For more information and to register visit https://partners.glaciermt.com/training. Anyone in the community is invited to attend the training at the Seeley Lake Historical Museum and Visitor’s Center May 21 from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. with the Visitor Center staff. Registration is limited to 25 or 30 participants to increase interaction among participants.
