Van extinguished, no injuries

Volunteer firefighters from Greenough-Potomac and Seeley Lake working to extinguish a van that was engulfed in fire Wednesday night near Harper's Lake.

GREENOUGH – Just before 10 p.m. Thursday, April 15, local volunteer firefighters and law enforcement responded to a van that was on fire in the Harper's Lake Campground. While the van was a total loss, no one was injured.

According to Greenough-Potomac Volunteer Fire Department Fire Chief and Incident Commander Ryan Hall, they were paged out at 9:56 p.m. Personnel with Seeley Lake Volunteer Fire Department, Missoula County Sheriff's Office and Montana Highway Patrol also responded to the incident.

When Hall arrived the van was fully involved. They used 1,250 gallons of water to extinguish...
