Loving Hearts now open Saturdays

SEELEY LAKE – Loving Hearts Thrift Store is now open Saturdays from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. This is in addition to regular hours on Wednesday from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Loving Hearts is fully stocked with clothing, household goods, books, toys and more. Volunteers manage and staff the store and all the proceeds go back into the Seeley Lake community. They appreciate your patience and understanding through the pandemic and look forward to seeing you. Masks are still required to be worn in the store.

Community Meet-and-Greet for SSHS Principal candidates 5 p.m., April 30

SEELEY LAKE –Seeley-Swan High School Principal Kellen Palmer accepted a position at Washington Middle School in Missoula for next school year. Missoula County Public Schools will be interviewing to fill his position April 30. While the interviews will be closed to the public, the community is invited to meet the candidates Friday evening from 5 – 6 p.m. in the SSHS gymnasium. Feedback forms will be available for members of the community to submit at or following the meet and greet.

Masks are required to attend.

Weekly COVID-19 update

As of April 19, there have been 107,202 cases of COVID-19 in Montana. There have been 643,283 doses of vaccines administered and 278,888 Montanans fully immunized. There are 1,008 active cases, 4,914 total hospitalizations with 55 active, 104,648 recoveries and 1,546 deaths in Montana due to COVID-19 complications. Missoula County has had 8,940 cases, has 82 active cases, 8,765 recovered and 93 COVID-related deaths.
