Kendra Coombes of Seeley Lake shot this 3x3 white-tailed buck Nov. 6 with a 270 around Archibald Loop. She shot it right through the heart. Her son Ryker is with her and the largest buck she has ever shot. This was Kendra's first deer since her daughter Huntley's birth Nov. 6, 2017. Kendra felt blessed that her precious rainbow baby Huntley, who would have been celebrating her third birthday, got to be with her. "Huntley made sure there would be some happiness in this day," wrote Kendra.

In her first year hunting, 10-year-old Bekah Kelley of Seeley Lake dropped this whitetail doe Nov. 13 with a 75-yard fatal shot to the heart using her grandpa's 257 Robert's rifle. She was hunting around the gravel pit with her mother Liz, little sister Brittney, 9, and dog Bella.

Seeley Lake native Liz Wayne got this 4x4 white-tailed buck while hunting up Morrell Creek Road with her dog Bella on Nov. 14. It was a fatal heart shot it at 75 yards with her father Gary's 257 Roberts.
