Concerning the Letter to the Editor from Leslie Lee admonishing me for trivializing trichotillomania (hair pulling compulsion). I am terribly sorry for referring to this disorder so flippantly in my Funky Phrase article. It was extremely insensitive of me to ignore the fact that trichotillomania is debilitating for sufferers.

Please accept my apology. I will work harder to be more sensitive to issues like this in the future.
