Artarose takes the stress out of life

SEELEY LAKE - Jenifer Flannery has been helping her family, friends and neighbors run errands, organize, clean and manage their home and businesses. After helping a few of her close friends and seeing the needs that people have in the area, Flannery decided to put her passion for helping others to work. She opened Artarose, a professional, affordable, customized service for house management, personal assistant and concierges services, to meet the demands of everyday living.

"With everything going on now, people get overwhelmed," said Flannery. "I want to help with the personal stuff, home or business. I offer something for everyone."

Flannery has a diverse skill set that she has developed throughout her life. She moved to Seeley Lake four years ago and opened Minx Beauty Bar in 2017. This has given her first hand knowledge interacting with the local business community and the wide range of services available.

"I've already had to do the hard stuff and I know how hard it is. You can just call me and say, 'Hey, I need this,' [and] I'll get that set up for you," said Flannery who will subcontract with local businesses who are licensed, insured and offer the needed service within the specified time frame.

After Flannery closed Minx Beauty Bar, she was looking to get out of the beauty industry. She wanted to put her skills to work offering a broad range of services to help people.

"Your environment really helps you. It is peace of mind and knowing I can help someone a little bit and take some stress off," said Flannery. "It's not just me starting a business, it is also helping the vendors that may be a little slower - put a little bit in everybody's pocket."

Flannery opened Artarose in July. She named the business after her 95-year-old grandmother Arta Rose.

"She is just a total spitfire. She has been through a lot and she is just a hard working woman," said Flannery. "It is just kind of a little tribute to her."

The list of services available from Artarose covers everything from running errands and other daily tasks to executive assistant, travel arrangements and event planning.

Daily tasks including light housekeeping, meal prep, shopping, personal care, making appointments, scheduling, organizing a home or business, money management and setting up and helping clients learn how to use their technology. She is also happy to do scheduled visits and play games with those looking for companionship.

While Artarose does not offer property management services, Artarose will meet clients' house management specifications if they are just coming for the weekend by stocking the refrigerator, liquor cabinet and make sure everything is ready for their return. For those leaving on a short trip, Flannery offers house and pet sitting.

Artarose is also available to hire to help with moving in or moving out or help a family sort through an estate following the death of a loved one.

If someone is moving to or would like to move to the area, Artarose offers relocation services by working with local realtors, exploring job opportunities and help connect local services with the need.

For those wanting to take a trip, Flannery can do all the travel arrangements and itinerary planning as requested. If someone wants help planning a wedding, event or party, Artarose can take the stress out of the details.

While Artarose does not offer client transportation, Flannery will be going to Missoula once a week and she can do shopping for local businesses or individuals.

Artarose offers these concierge services and more from Clearwater Junction north to Condon. Flannery is the sole owner/operator currently, but she hopes to increase her coverage area and hire employees as needed.

Depending on the services requested, Artarose charges an hourly rate and per service rate. Package rates are also available as well as discounts for seniors.
