Seeley Lake Library closed for renovations

SEELEY LAKE - The Seeley Lake Library will be temporarily closed for curbside service beginning the week of July 13 due to renovations taking place at Seeley-Swan High School. The public will be notified as soon as the library reopens. Thank you for your patience and support.

Seeley Lake Water District closed to general traffic

SEELEY LAKE – The Seeley Lake Water District Office is open to the public by appointment only. Please call 677-2559 to make an appointment. Masks are required.

Seeley Lake Ranger District open by appointment only

SEELEY LAKE - The Seeley Lake Ranger Station will be transitioning to virtual services by phone and email to mitigate the risk of exposure to COVID-19 to our employees and the public. Please call 406-677-2233 for continued service. The Seeley Lake Ranger Station remains operational and we continue to serve the public through virtual means.

Join CRC for Macroinvertebrate Workshop, July 24

PLACID LAKE – The community is invited to learn about native/invasive aquatic bugs and their role in the ecosystem as a Macroinvertebrate Workshop July 24 from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. at the Placid Lake Day Use Area, 1.5 miles from the State Park along the eastern short of Placid Lake. Sampling techniques will be reviewed and attendees will participate in a sampling and identification exercise.

Masks are suggested and social distancing will be required. Please bring your own chair. There is no cost to attend but RSVP is requested. For questions or to RSVP call or email Emily at Emily@crcmt.org or 980-229-3855.

Weekly COVID-19 update

As of July 13, there are 1,843 cases of COVID-19 in Montana. There are 936 active cases, 133 hospitalizations with 28 active, 875 recoveries and 32 deaths in Montana due to COVID-19 complications. Missoula County has had 138 cases, 43 are active and 95 recovered and one reported death. They are monitoring more than 320 close contacts to those cases that are in quarantine.
