Community invited to go on a bear hunt

SEELEY LAKE – During this time of social distancing, locals Mark and Alicia Kues started the Seeley Lake Bear Hunt to have a little fun! Residents are encouraged to place a stuffed bear or other stuffed animal in a window or somewhere visible. When families go for car rides or walks during the shelter-in-place order, they can hunt for bears and other animals.

Communities around the nation are participating in the bear hunts for little ones to enjoy. It is an opportunity to have some fun with your family while practicing physical distancing from others.

Hunters can take a picture and post it to the “Seeley Lake Bear Hunt” public group on Facebook or just count how many they can find. The group also posted a Seeley Lake Bear Hunt 2020 image to print, color and post.
