Celebrating St. Patrick's Day

SEELEY LAKE – "The food was really good," said an attendee dressed in green as they left the Seeley Lake Senior Center's annual St. Patrick's Day dinner March 15. While attendance was down this year, the corned beef and Irish Stew was a treat for many along with the goodies from the Cake Walk and an abundance of items in the Silent Auction.

The St. Patrick's Day Dinner is an annual fundraiser supporting the general operations at the Senior Center. Senior Center president Boyd Gossard said things were steady but really slowed down after 3 p.m.

"We didn't do as well as we had hoped but understand that people are concerned with the coronavirus," said Gossard.

Kelly Fitzgerald was this year's winner of $150 in the 50/50 drawing.

Gossard said, "We want to thank everyone for their participation and their support donating items to the silent auction."
