Marion Louise Brechbill Nov. 18, 1927 - Jan. 17, 2020

SEELEY LAKE - Marion Louise Brechbill passed from this life into the arms of her Savior on Friday Jan. 17 at the age of 92 surrounded by her loving family. Mom was a true Christian which was evident by her love and compassion for others. She will be truly missed but never forgotten.

Mom was born Nov. 18, 1927 in Butte, Mont. She and her two brothers and sister were raised by their grandmother. Once Mom graduated high school she attended nursing school where she met two young ladies that had a tall, handsome brother who ended up becoming the love of her life.

Mom and Dad were married in 1953 and had four children that they raised in Seeley Lake. Mom was a wonderful caregiver for her family as well as the community being the only nurse in town for many years. She was instrumental in getting the SOS Health Center established. There are countless memories of her being of service to many people in town.

After a serious accident that left Dad a quadriplegic, Mom was his primary caregiver for 24 years. Once Dad passed, Mom continued with her heart of service by volunteering at the Food Bank of Seeley Lake.

Mom was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, her husband Henry, and one granddaughter. Mom is survived by her sister Shirline Butler of Lincoln City, Ore.; her four children Jack and Phyllis Brechbill of Kalispell, Mont., Joyce and Jan Lechner of Stevensville, Mont., Linda Niles of Seeley Lake and Tom and Debbie Brechbill of Seeley Lake; sister-in-law Dorothy Maples of Missoula; as well as her many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

There will be a Celebration of Life for Mom at Sunset Memorial in Missoula on Friday, Jan. 24 at 1 p.m.

We love you so much and will miss you terribly but we know beyond a shadow of a doubt that you are far happier now in Heaven with Dad praising our Lord and Savior!!!
