SLE Superintendent Daniel Schrock and SLE Board Member Todd Johnson test out the wiggle chairs at the SLE board meeting Monday, Dec. 16.

SLE will use these funds and purchase wiggle chairs for the lower elementary students. Schrock said research has shown that these chairs have a positive impact as they are designed to allow students the ability to wiggle and move about, keeping them on task while minimizing disruptive behaviors.

"SLE is very appreciative of the outreach by MEC in helping us meet the educational needs of our students," wrote Schrock in an email. "Their generous donation will go on to benefit many children over the lifespan of the chairs. SLE is very appreciative of the outreach and support from our community that helps us in countless ways to meet the needs of our students."
