Rich Ranch Community Appreciation Day, Dec. 15
WOODWORTH – The community is invited to the Rich Ranch for their annual Community Appreciation Day Sunday, Dec. 15 from 1-4 p.m. at the Rich Ranch, 939 Cottonwood Lakes Road. The Seeley Lake Lions Club will be hosting their annual Chili Contest Lunch complete with cookies from the Seeley Lake Trailblazers 4-H club. There will be sleigh rides through the pasture and local musher Jessie Royer will return with the J Team offering rides in her dog sled.
Santa will stop for a visit at 3 p.m. with goodie sacks for the children and there were be warming fires and hot cocoa to enjoy while socializing.
The event is free and everyone is welcome. Depending on the amount of snow bring a sled to enjoy sledding down the hill from the lodge.
Tamaracks Resort and Montana Girl teamed up for Giving Tree event, Dec. 15
SEELEY LAKE - Montana Girl and the Tamaracks Resort have teamed up to give back to the community on Sunday, Dec. 15. If you need a little help this holiday season, please stop by and pick some things from The Giving Tree in the Tamaracks Resort gift shop from 3:30 – 6:30 p.m.
Gifts under The Giving Tree include Cory’s gift cards, stockings, toys, mittens, hats, socks and other items. There will be Christmas stockings filled with goodies as well as gift-wrapping available. There will also be a photo prop where parents and their children can be Santa!!
“We want everyone to be able to have something under their tree,” wrote Sheila Czifro, owner of Montana Girl, on social media. “Stop by and get a picture or grab what you need to help your holidays be great!”
Seniors Christmas Party, Dec. 16
Swan Valley - Seniors are invited to a Senior’s only Christmas Party at 1 p.m. Dec. 16 at the Hungry Bear Steak House. A turkey dinner will be served with stuffing and trimmings. Come and celebrate the holidays!
