Veterans, their families and friends and the Seeley Lake Elementary Junior High students and teachers gathered at the Seeley Lake Memorial Garden on Veterans Day, Nov. 11 to thank and honor veterans. During the ceremony, Veterans & Families of Seeley Lake President Barbara Knopp asked the veterans to raise their hands. "Without you we would not be here," said Knopp, as those in attendance applauded those who had served. "Thousands have paid the price so you and I can enjoy the freedoms we have today."

SEELEY LAKE – Hand shakes, hugs and thank yous were abundant at the Veterans Day Ceremony in Seeley Lake Nov. 11. Veterans and Families of Seeley Lake President Barbara Knopp thanked all the service men and women, past and present, and honored them for the sacrifices they made and the courage it takes to defend honor, duty and country for others to live in freedom.
