LINCOLN - The Seeley-Swan Lady Blackhawks defeated the Lincoln Lynx on the road Oct. 19. The Ladies, won in three sets, 25-16, 25-18 and 25-18.
The victory was extra sweet for the Lady Blackhawks as the Lynx were one of their two early season losses to conference foes. They have a 7-2 in conference record with a week left to play in the regular season before heading into District tournaments.
Klaire Kovatch scored a third of all the team’s kills with 11 kills out of 19 attempted and just 7 errors. Sariah Maughan and Bethany Hoag together had another third of the kills with 6 and 5 respectively...
