The Powell County Ambulance serves Deer Lodge but not northern Powell County due to the distance to respond.
HELMVILLE - There were more questions than answers at the second meeting held regarding the Powell County Ambulance Service levy and northern Powell County on Sept. 30 in Helmville. Many of the questions regarding the legality of the levy still have yet to be determined and it is possible that residents of the northern portion of the county may seek an injunction against the collection of the levy money or the allocation of the funds until the matter is resolved.
