Lion Neil Ruttenbur Memorial Celebration, July 20

SEELEY LAKE – The community is invited to a memorial potluck for Neil Ruttenbur Saturday, July 20 at the Seeley Lake Community Hall starting at 1 p.m. The Seeley Lake Lions Club will provide the main course of meat prepared by Pop’s Place and the Seeley Lake Senior Center is providing the refreshments. The public is invited and encouraged to bring a side dish to share.

Anyone wishing to contribute is welcome to donate money to the Seeley Lake Lions Club in honor of former Lion Neil Ruttenbur. All donations will be used to benefit the community.

Swan Valley - The American Red Cross will be in Condon, at the Swan Valley Community Hall, Tuesday, July 23 from 1 – 6 p.m.

Celebrate Swan Valley Outfitting and Guiding, Aug. 3

Swan Valley - The history of outfitting and guiding in the Swan Valley will be celebrated with storytelling and an open mic Saturday, Aug. 3 from 3-5 p.m. at the Swan Valley Museum, Hwy 83, mile marker 42, Condon. The Upper Swan Valley Historical Society is hosting the event to capture history through stories as told by people who experienced them. Everyone is invited to share their memories.

The event is a fundraiser to support the Swan Valley Museum and the nonprofit organization. Light refreshments will be available while they last. Tickets will be available at the door: $10 for adults, children under 12 free.

SEELEY LAKE – Children ages 3-12 are invited to attend Vacation Bible School “We are all on God’s Team” Aug. 6-9 from 9 – 11:30 a.m. at Holy Cross Lutheran, 1655 Airport Road, Seeley Lake. Come enjoy games, arts & crafts, Bible stories and snacks. Free to attend.
